Beautiful hanging ikebana vase with hand hammered bronze originally used for holding fresh flower arrangements in a large house or temple. Signed and dated inside the box, the lid states that it was donated by Genpachi Ooya in Kansei prefecture. 1791, Edo period. Vase with chain measures 47.5″.
