One in a series of hand painted scroll paintings recording a local harvest festival. This scroll panel depicts a traditional orange gate near the shrine where a priest is entering and carrying a horse ema (wooden plaque with written prayers), a young boy is waving festival banner, one is carrying a drum and another has a tengu mask on top of his head. Edo period. Mounted on paper for protection. 4th of 13 panels.
